Anthony A. Patel is a Managing Director at DelMorgan, with over 25 years of seasoned experience in M&A, IPOs, PIPEs, public and private capital markets, SPACs, reverse mergers, venture capital, private equity, equity and debt financings and complex business transactions (including divestitures, spinoffs, split-offs, carve-outs, tracking stocks, ADRs, reorganizations, workouts and distressed deals). Over the course of his career, Tony has assisted dozens of public and private companies in evaluating a wide range of strategic alternatives and M&A opportunities, including cross-border transactions in Europe and Asia. He has also raised equity and debt capital in both domestic and international markets. Tony is a trusted adviser to senior executives, management teams and boards of directors of start-ups, emerging growth companies, established businesses, investment funds and institutional investors. Tony’s deal experience spans across several sectors, including technology (all verticals), media, telecommunications, life sciences, biotechnology, finance and real estate. He is particularly passionate about working with all types of high-growth companies. He began his career in Silicon Valley and the San Franciso Bay Area and has also worked and lived in New York, Boston and Las Vegas. Prior to joining DelMorgan & Co., Tony was an investment banker and corporate attorney. He has a wealth of banking experience and has closed numerous transactions in his prior roles at JPMorgan, Chase Hambrecht & Quist and Montgomery & Co. As a business attorney, Tony is also very experienced in structuring and negotiating deals, including in his previous roles at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Ellenoff, Grossman & Schole and Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer. Tony received his Juris Doctor degree in law in 1999 from the University of California at Berkeley, attending Harvard Law School during his final year. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude and with Phi Beta Kappa honors, in 1996 from the University of California at Los Angeles.
