Karl joined Dean Street Advisers in June 2017. He started his career at Strata Partners in London, where he was involved in buy-side, sell-side and capital raising mandates across Europe within the TMT sector, before moving to RBC Capital Markets and being exposed to various investment banking projects across a range of international M&A, equity & debt capital markets and corporate banking transactions. Notable transactions include the £1.2bn acquisition of esure Group by Bain Capital, the sale of data centre assets to Digital Realty by Equinix for $1bn and Liberty Global’s acquisition of Cable & Wireless for £3.5bn. Since joining Dean Street Karl has been involved in all of the firm’s transactions. Karl holds a MSc in Finance & Management from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and a BSc in Economics from Gutenberg University of Mainz. He speaks both German and Polish.
