Bio

Bob commenced his career in the City in 1989 and for the first 19 years of his career he was a UK Equity Fund Manager, looking after a wide array of pension, retail, and off-shore assets. Having started his career with Swiss Life, he joined Lucas Pension Fund in 1993, at the time, one of the UK’s oldest and largest pension schemes, and in 1998 he was promoted to Head of UK Equities. He ended his time in fund management as Head of UK Retail Funds for HSBC Asset Management, having won a number of awards throughout his career. Bob’s investment banking career started in 2006 when he joined Cenkos Securities. Originally part of their corporate broking team, he worked on and led various corporate fund raisings and M&A transactions over his 13 years there, ending as a leading member of their corporate finance team. In August 2018 Bob jointly worked with Dean Street on Bain’s £1.4bn acquisition of esure. Bob joined Cantor Fitzgerald Europe as a Managing Director in 2019. Bob joined Dean Street in 2021.
