Jay Junior is a Managing Director for the Investment Banking group, with more than 25 years of investment banking experience serving financial institutions in the Mid-Atlantic. He has completed over 125 transactions including both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, public and private offerings of debt and equity, branch purchases and sales, valuations and financial advisory services for clients in the following industries: commercial banks and thrifts, insurance companies, specialty finance companies and asset management firms. Throughout his career, Jay has been involved in generating proceeds in excess of $1.5 billion. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, he was a Managing Director at Mufson Howe Hunter & Co. and Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. He is a past board member with the Radnor Conservancy, a past president of the North Wayne Protection Association—the nation’s oldest consecutively existing civic association—and he is a former board member and finance chair of the Finance Committee of Caring People Alliance, one of Philadelphia’s largest social service agencies serving at risk youth and their families. Jay holds a bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College.
