Chris Rockers is a Managing Director for the Diversified Industrials Investment Banking group, where he focuses on Energy & Power and General Industrials. His extensive experience spans over 15 years in investment banking and private equity, principally in the oil and gas and energy sectors. Before joining D.A. Davidson, he was the lead energy investment banker at Alpina Capital, after previously serving as a co-founder and partner with ESC Solutions. While at both Alpina and ESC Solutions, Chris directed M&A transactions for oilfield services companies. He began his career in the energy services business in 2007, working on the buy-side at Cornerstone Holdings, where he led a multi-company roll-up acquisition strategy to create Magna Energy Services. He worked on financing, M&A advisory and restructuring in his previous roles at FTI Consulting and Falkenberg Capital. Over his career he has completed dozens of transactions, ranging in size from sub-$5 million to $250 million in enterprise value. Chris has served on the boards of directors of several privately held energy services businesses. He holds an MBA from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance from Colorado State University. Chris is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
