Sokol Cano Bio

Sokol Cano is a Managing Director in the Diversified Industrials Group in New York. He focuses on serving clients in the Paper & Packaging sector and its various sub-verticals, including rigid, flexible, and corrugated packaging, labels, packaging distribution, contract packaging and manufacturing, pulp and paper, and commercial printing. Prior to joining the firm, he was with KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he created and led the Paper & Packaging industry vertical after having spent his earlier years as a Vice President in the firm’s Building Products sector. In these roles, Sokol sourced and/or executed transactions with a combined value exceeding $50 billion. Before KeyBanc Capital Markets, Sokol worked at Barclays Capital and its predecessor firm, Lehman Brothers, where he was most recently a Vice President in its Industrials Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Sokol holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Wabash College. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
