Paul Colone Bio

Based in Boston, Paul Colone is a Managing Director for the Investment Banking group, where he leads the Specialty Materials sector. In addition to his client-facing responsibilities, he is also focused on continuing the growth of the Boston team and the expansion of the firm’s cross-border advisory capabilities. Paul has consistently been one of the most active middle market investment bankers serving Industrials clients over the past 25 years. Most recently, he spent the last seven years as Managing Partner for North American activities and Global Head of Specialty Materials at Alantra, a global middle market investment bank. Previously, Paul was a Partner at C.W. Downer, a boutique middle market investment bank focused on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, until its merger with Alantra. Paul has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston College and a Master of Science in International Securities Investment and Banking from University of Reading.
