Jonathan Leong Bio

Jonathan Leong is a Managing Director in the Consumer Investment Banking group focusing on advising clients in the food and beverage sectors. He has over 20 years of experience representing a wide range of private, public, and sponsor-owned companies in sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions; equity IPO, follow-on and convertible offerings; and high grade and leveraged finance offerings. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, Jonathan was the co-founder of Jupiter Acquisition, a $160 million consumer-focused SPAC. Previously, Jonathan was a Managing Director in the Consumer teams of Nomura Securities International, Inc. and Jefferies Group LLC, as well as a Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York and London. Jonathan received a bachelor’s degree in French and Business Studies from the University of Sheffield.
