Tony Butler Bio

Tony Butler has over 25 years of experience in the mining and resources sectors. Following degrees from Oxford and London University, he began his career in accounting at Deloitte & Touche before first joining CF&Co in 2004. Over 20 years at CF&Co, Tony has been responsible for a wide range of M&A, joint ventures, and debt financings. He has advised clients from around the world, covering a broad selection of commodities. As VP of Metals & Mining at Nomura International, Tony gained experience in public market M&A and capital raisings for major mining companies such as Anglo American and First Quantum Minerals. He has also worked for several mining companies, notably as CFO of Nordic Mines. Tony is currently a non-executive director of North Atlantic Minerals and Invenit Global.
