Bio

Mr. Croft co-founded Croft & Bender in 1996. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Croft was a Managing Director of the Corporate Finance Department at The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Inc. and was a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Croft joined Robinson-Humphrey in 1971 and played an important role in building the firm into a leading investment bank in the Southeast. Prior to joining Robinson-Humphrey, Mr. Croft worked for White, Weld & Co., an investment bank in New York, and also served for two years as an officer in the U.S. Army, with a tour in South Vietnam. Over the course of his investment banking career, Mr. Croft has served on behalf of privately held companies, sponsor-backed businesses and public companies, and has been involved in many industries, including technology, healthcare, communications, retailing, manufacturing, distribution and services. As a founder and Managing Partner of C&B Capital, the private equity affiliate of Croft & Bender, Mr. Croft also has experience on the principal investing side of the business, including serving on the board or as a Board Observer for several C&B Capital porfolio companies. Mr. Croft has served on the boards of numerous corporations and non-profit organizations. He served as a member of the NASD Corporate Finance Committee for several years and is a Board Member of the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta and head of the Investment Committee. Mr. Croft received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Washington & Lee University.
