Ward has over 20 years of investing and corporate finance experience, including as a buy-side equity research analyst and portfolio manager as well as an investment banking adviser to a wide variety of sectors, including homebuilding, building products, engineering & construction and consumer & retail. He began his career as an analyst for Friess Associates, the long-only growth equity manager of the Brandywine mutual funds, ultimately responsible for investments in excess of $300 million. He joined the Investment Banking Division of Citi in 2009, where he initially advised retail and homebuilding companies and has subsequently focused his coverage on the building products, homebuilding, and engineering & construction sectors. Currently, Ward leads building products investment banking globally at Credit Suisse, where he advises companies across the lifecycle on capital markets and strategic M&A transactions. Ward holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business, where he graduated as a Stern Scholar with a concentration in Corporate Finance.
