Pankaj started his career with Garware Group and gained experience in fields of Corporate Finance and Taxation. He then took over as the head of Department of Finance and Accounts at Parekh Platinum Limited, a listed company. He is an expert financial engineer in the precious metal industry. He has pioneered novice financial products like Gold Loans in India. He has successfully managed import of precious metals amounting to Rs.400 crores. He has been liasoning with the International Banks who were suppliers of precious metals. He has successfully managed several fund raising programmes like IPO, private placement, project finance, working capital finance, import and export finance amounting to over USD 55mn. During a span of 19 years he has successfully interacted with all the major all-India Financial Institutions. He has successfully established Internal Audit and Control System and MIS for the precious metals logistics and compliances with Import & Export and Sales Tax Regulations. Pankaj is a Commerce and Law Graduate and is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1987.
