Luc Poppe joins CFI France, as Head of Consumer Goods & Retail for the CFI Group. He joins us from Sentosa Partners, a boutique M&A Advisory, focused on the FMCG and Consumer Health Care space. Before that, Luc was Head of Business Development (M&A) Europe, Middle East & Africa for Johnson & Johnson Consumer and member of the EMEA ExCo. He was responsible for External Growth & divestitures in Consumer Health Care and Beauty & Personal Care, leading projects and deals in most European countries, but also Russia, Turkey, Middle East, India and China. Before joining Johnson & Johnson in 2005, Luc had a number of Marketing, Sales and general management roles with Unilever, in beauty, home care, and foods. His last role was as Brand Development Director Europe for Detergents; Other Unilever assignments included Marketing & Sales Director for North Africa, based in Casablanca, a pioneer Marketing role in Central and Eastern Europe based in Prague, and Marketing/Sales positions in Spain and Belgium. Luc earned an EMBA from Insead (France/Singapore), a Master in General Management from the Vlerick Business School (for which he leads the Alumni organisation), and a Master in Applied Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp.
