Andre Wassmann Bio

Andre has almost twenty years of experience in the areas of strategy, M&A, and corporate finance, and brings an excellent network of fintech companies, think tanks and incubators, as well as investors in the banking, insurance and capital markets sectors. Before joining CFI, Andre was Partner at Clairfield International with a focus on Banking, Insurance, IT and software. Previously, he worked as a strategy consultant in the financial sector, including positions at Accenture, Commerzbank and KGAL – an asset manager focused on real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy and transport/aviation for investments of institutional and mid-market clients. In particular, he was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of innovative business areas, M&A and venture capital investments. During this time, he was able to develop the business model of a digital investment platform for KGAL. Andre brings a valuable network and a wealth of experience in advising Venture Capital, Private Equity, Corporates and entrepreneurs in primarily the financial, IT and software services sector. Andre will further enhance the firm’s deal origination capabilities and joins CFI’s ongoing mission to bring top-tier M&A advice and execution in this strategically important ecosystem. Andre graduated from business studies at the University of Oxford and in Ravensburg and holds an MBA from Said Business School.
