Stuart has been involved his entire business career (since 1977) in the business forms/documents segment of the printing industry. His formative years in the business (1977-1982) were with the Systemedia Division of NCR Corporation. In August 1982, Stuart joined Rochester, NY-based Cooley Group as a Sales Rep and remained in "sales" for 15+ years. In May 1998, Stuart was named President/CEO of Cooley Group and served in that position for 20+ years until "retiring" in December 2018. Cooley Group is an employee-owned company and was one of the seven (7) founding distributors that formed the National Business Forms Association in 1946. NBFA changed its name to DMIA in the 1990's and since 2007 has been known as Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA). Stuart served as President of the PSDA for the 2017-2018 term and prior to that (beginning April 2013) served on the Board of Directors with roles that included Vice President and Treasurer. In September 2019, Stuart joined Corporate Development Associates as an Associate. In September 2022, Stuart was promoted to Managing Director of CDA's Rochester office.
