Mr. Chapman is a Partner and a co-founder of Copper Run, and oversees client services, business development and company operations. He focuses his time serving companies in the Consumer and Industrial, Technology and Business Services sectors. One area of focus is in the fire protection and alarm industry, where Mr. Chapman has completed over a dozen transactions. Mr. Chapman has assisted in complex negotiations and has orchestrated numerous intricate deal structures, including cross-border transactions. He often assists business owners with succession planning and other advisory services. Mr. Chapman works on both sell-side and buy-side transactions. Mr. Chapman was previously a senior portfolio manager for a hedge fund focused on both private and public investments. Mr. Chapman began his career with Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C. as a Senior Consultant on the IT Strategy Team. At Booz Allen, Mr. Chapman led his team on several high-profile projects for the Department of Defense and Department of Treasury. Mr. Chapman holds a BS in Systems Engineering from The University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance from Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He is a member of Association for Corporate Growth and NAFED (National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors).
