Isaac grew up in Warrington and attended Bolton School Boys Division before studying History at the University of Leeds. Following a year out, travelling South America, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, Isaac joined Deloitte through the graduate training scheme, working in the audit department and qualifying as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA); and then moved into the Transaction Services team, performing vendor and acquisition due diligence on businesses in a range of different sectors. He left Deloitte to join Convex in 2017, seeking the thrill of experiencing the broader Deal process from start to finish. Outside of Convex, Isaac enjoys sports, football particularly but less so recently as a Manchester United fan; trying new restaurants; going to the gym to counteract the effect of the restaurants; and travelling.
