Bio

Mara Babin is a senior executive with extensive international and U.S. business and legal experience. She brings expertise in management, operations, corporate governance, capital formation, M&A, private equity, venture capital, fund raising, compensation and business development. Ms. Babin is a business law attorney at Babin & Cusick where she advises clients in connection with business transactions and is also a founder of MBMC International, LLC, a consulting and private investing vehicle that provides strategic advisory services to high growth companies. Prior to founding MBMC, Ms. Babin spent 24 years at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, a global law firm with 37 offices in 18 countries, and was Managing Partner of the London office and Head of its European & Middle East Private Equity Practice. In addition, Ms. Babin is an advisory board member of FIDO Global, LLC, a world-class open innovation platform, and she served for ten years as an officer and outside general counsel for SIFCO Industries, Inc., a global aerospace public company. Ms. Babin received a B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and a JD from University of Michigan Law School.
