Jon Schwartz Bio

Jon Schwartz has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting, private equity, and M&A transaction advisory. He has led and executed buy-side and sell-side due diligence on more than 200 transactions for private equity and strategic clients, with enterprise values ranging from $10 million to more than $1 billion. Jon’s industry experience includes consumer products, retail, restaurants, manufacturing, industrial, aerospace and defense, media, technology, and telecommunications. In addition to performing financial due diligence, he advises clients on net working capital, debt and debt-like items, closing statements, purchase agreements, and other related assistance. Before joining CohnReznick, Jon spent 10 years in audit at a Big Four firm and 12+ years in transaction advisory services with several other public accounting and consulting firms. He also spent two years at a family-backed private equity and real estate investment firm and served one year as the CFO/CRO of a distressed consumer products business.
