Bio

Jason Zimmerman is an audit partner in CohnReznick’s New York office. He provides audit services to both publicly and privately held hospitality, consumer, and life sciences companies ranging from startups to multinational corporations. Jason has assisted his publicly held and private equity-owned clients through a variety of complex accounting issues including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and the adoption of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers and ASC 842, Leases. As an audit partner, Jason is responsible for all stages of the audit process including pre-engagement planning, interviews and fieldwork, identifying and resolving financial reporting issues, and presentations to management and shareholders. He is a member of the firm’s Public Company Audit Practice and has been an instructor on technical accounting and audit matters at CohnReznick. Prior to joining CohnReznick, Jason practiced public accounting for more than seven years at another national accounting firm. BS, Accounting, State University of New York, Geneseo;
