Blaise Moreland is a partner at CohnReznick and a member of the firm’s assurance practice. With 18 years of experience, he has worked in several facets of real estate including office, residential, multifamily, condominiums, fair value funds, data centers, industrial, land and mixed-use assets. This diverse experience within the real estate industry provides a deep technical understanding of a wide array of accounting issues. Blaise has performed audits, reviews and compilations under GAAP, IFRS, Income Tax Basis, and the Investment Company Guide. He is involved in all audit functions including design and approach, evaluation of internal controls, supervising staff, reviewing detail test work, audit resolution, and financial statement review. He has thorough knowledge of Regulation A+, GAAS, GAGAS, Department of Labor regulations and ERISA requirements. Blaise has offered continuing education courses for professional staff on auditing real estate and employee benefit plans. He has also contributed thought leadership on GAAP application to resolve technical accounting issues. Blaise currently works with several real estate companies, investors and developers throughout the U.S. BS, Accounting, Decision Information Technology, University of Maryland;
