Dirk Freiland Bio

Dirk is founder and managing partner of Clairfield in Germany. He has more than 20 years of experience in M&A and international business development with a focus on industrial, high-tech, medtech, TMT, and services companies. Prior to Clairfield, he was partner of a midsized M&A firm in southern Germany. Before that he worked as senior manager at Accenture in strategy and change management where he ultimately became responsible for building the M&A team and activities for the DACH region. At the beginning of his professional career, he worked in the R&D department of Alcatel. Dirk studied mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer science at the University of Applied Sciences of Esslingen/Stuttgart and Paris. Dirk is founder of Beirat-BW e.V and member of advisory and supervisory boards at several companies.
