Damien Coppieters has decades of experience as a commercial and investment banker specializing in M&A for the services, food, and industrial sectors as well as structured finance and PPP. Damien began his career with Generale Bank. In 1987 he joined the Group Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP), first as a commercial banker, and then moving to managing director of its Benelux investment banking arm. In 1997 Damien moved to Mees Pierson and then joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 1999 as director in the new Brussels office. In 2005 he founded Clairfield operations in Belgium. Damien holds a degree in commerce and finance and is also member of the board of a number of family-owned Belgian companies.
