Damien Coppieters Bio

Damien founded Clairfield in Belgium in 2006. He has vast experience as a commercial and investment banker specialising in mergers and acquisitions for the services, food, and industrial sectors, as well as structured finance and PPP. He began his career with Generale Bank. In 1987, he joined the Group Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP), first as a commercial banker and then as managing director of its Benelux investment banking arm. In 1997, Damien moved to Mees Pierson and joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 1999 as director in the new Brussels office. Damien graduated from ICHEC University with a degree in commerce and finance and is also a member of the board of several family-owned Belgian companies.
