Matthew Phillips Bio

Matt has over 25 years of legal and corporate finance advisory experience. He has successfully represented large, public clients, as well as smaller, privately-owned middle market clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and capital markets transactions. Prior to City Capital, Matt was Senior Vice President at Dresner Partners where he headed up the firm’s Family Business Group and led the origination and execution of M&A and capital raising assignments for family-owned, middle market businesses. Earlier in his career, Matt was a corporate and financial lawyer at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd and then later at Unilever. Representative clients Matt has advised include Baxter International, Caremark, Viacom, Blockbuster, Dialysis Corporation of America, MacLean Fogg Company, Market Day Corporation, Production Services Associates, New Carbon Company, Eclipse, Inc. and KRU Medical Ventures.
