Bio

Jeffrey (Jeff) Lyons is a Board director/advisor to emerging growth companies and a mentor to technology entrepreneurs. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in management and financial consulting, venture capital and private equity financing, and strategic partnership/M&A transactions with both private and public companies. He is a seasoned, market-driven entrepreneur experienced in building, financing, profitably scaling, and creating successful liquidity events for B2B companies and their owners. Jeff is currently the founder and Managing Director of Black Delta Consulting, LLC, a management consulting firm focused on building client equity value by delivering business lifecycle navigation, strategic financial advisory, and corporate development services to emerging growth companies. Black Delta specializes in planning for, creating, and realizing value in client organizations that provide technology-enabled business, SaaS application, data analytics, and professional services to their clients. Jeff has co-founded and held senior executive and Board director/advisory positions in VC and private equity-backed software, database marketing and technology-enabled services businesses. He has served as a Board director of Bright Health Insurance Company of Illinois, Inc. (2019 – present) and a Board director and principal shareholder of BigTime Software, Inc., a leading SaaS-based professional services automation provider (2010 – 2019), where he also served as President (2010 -2012). Previously, Jeff co-founded PRIMIS Marketing Group, a private equity-backed marketing services firm, and served as Executive Vice President responsible for corporate strategy and M&A. Prior to co-founding PRIMIS, he was a founder of two management consulting firms after ten years of corporate experience in Big Four management consulting and commercial banking. He has served as a management consultant and senior advisor to CEOs, Boards of Directors and management teams in numerous business services, financial, and IT software and service companies, both public and private, over the course of his career.
