Carter has over 25 years of experience raising capital and advising companies including public companies, privately held and family-owned companies, and growth stage companies. Recent representative clients include Brava, NexSpring Financial, America’s Food Technologies, Brideside, Custom Polymers and Protein2O. Immediately prior to joining City Capital Advisors, Carter spent several years as a principal investor, founder, and Chief Financial Officer for businesses in the consumer and industrial sectors, raising over $50mm of private capital for those entities. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Carter was a Managing Director with Banc of America Securities, LLC, where he led the Chicago investment banking activity for the branded consumer products industry. Representative clients for whom Carter worked include Jarden Corporation, Helen of Troy, Toro, Bare Escentuals, Fruit of the Loom, Dial Corporation and Alberto-Culver.
