Bio

Mr. Peterson is a Managing Director with CIBC Cleary Gull, currently focusing on the Business Services and Software and Technology sectors. He has provided merger and acquisition, financing, and other transaction advisory services for entrepreneurs and other owners of private and publicly traded companies in numerous industries over a career approaching 40 years. Mr. Peterson previously was Co-Head of Investment Banking for Tucker Anthony Sutro, supervising a team of nearly 100 middle market investment bankers from coast to coast. Previously he practiced corporate law as an attorney in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, law firm of Godfrey & Kahn, S.C, and worked as a CPA in the tax department at Arthur Young. Mr. Peterson is a member of the Boards of Directors of Liturgical Publications, Inc. and Gemini Health, LLC. He previously served on the boards of Krueger International, Inc. (“KI”), Richardson Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: RELL), the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, and the Florentine Opera Company. He earned a BA in Accounting with high honors from Michigan State University and obtained his JD (Order of the Coif) from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
