Mr. Slocum is a Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Chaffe & Associates, Inc., which focuses on providing M&A services to lower middle market clients across a broad spectrum of industries. He specializes in valuations, database and industry research of public equity and debt markets, as well as the construction of offering memorandums and other marketing documents. Mr. Slocum communicates with public and private strategic and financial buyers to coordinate and assist in all aspects of a sales process, including due diligence and the negotiation of confidentiality agreements, terms and conditions and purchase documents. In addition, he also builds business plans and financial projection models used to forecast earnings, cash flows, and budgets. Mr. Slocum has been involved in completed M&A and debt financing transactions valued at over $850 million. Prior to joining Chaffe & Associates, Mr. Slocum was an Associate Director in UBS’s Fund Services Department at the Wealth Management home office in New Jersey. He joined UBS as a Product Specialist in the Mutual Fund Consulting Services Department.
