Jeffrey Kuhr Bio

Jeff joined Sawaya Partners in 2002, now CG Sawaya Partners, and heads the firm’s advisory activities in the Home & Auto sectors. With over 35 years of M&A, financing and consulting experience, Jeff brings a multidimensional perspective to engagements that has contributed to a track record of exceeding client expectations in hundreds of projects. Jeff began his career in 1981 as a strategic consultant with Data Resources, Inc. where he advised Fortune 100 companies such as GE, GE Capital, Westinghouse, and Texaco. He then joined GE Capital where he financed dozens of leveraged buyouts in the consumer, service, and media/communications industries. In 1989, he co-founded Peter J. Solomon Company, an independent M&A firm focused on advising retail and consumer companies, and in 1999 he established West End Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank. Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics from Oberlin College and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
