Will Edwards has spent his career focused on mergers & acquisitions and strategic advisory across several industries, particularly the Food & Consumer Products sector. Selected transaction experience includes Kraft's merger with Heinz; the sale of Beam to Suntory Holdings; Altria’s acquisitions of John Middleton and UST and spin-offs of Kraft Foods and Philip Morris International; News Corporation’s acquisition of Dow Jones and its separation of its publishing and entertainment businesses; Fortune Brands’ sale of its Acushnet golf business and its spin-off of Fortune Brands Home & Security; the sale of ConAgra Foods’ trading & merchandising business to an investor group; the sale of Kraft’s frozen pizza business to Nestlé; the sale of Kraft’s Post cereals business to Ralcorp in a Reverse Morris Trust transaction; InBev’s acquisition of Anheuser-Busch; the sale of American Household to Jarden; the sale of Kraft’s sugar confectionery business to Wrigley; and Armor Holdings’ acquisition of Stewart & Stevenson Services. Prior to joining Centerview Partners at its inception, he was a member of the Food & Consumer Products Group at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Mr. Edwards holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Saint Thomas More Corporation, the Catholic Chapel & Center at Yale University.
