Michael V. Quinlan, Managing Director, Partner, and Founding Member, is focused on the financing of renewable energy generation and storage assets with a current emphasis on solar power. He is responsible for maintaining the firm’s existing investor base, the cultivation of new institutional investor interest in renewable energy, and the exploration of additional “green” investment opportunities. Over the past 32 years, Mike has worked in a variety of capacities including transaction origination, structuring, syndication, and client advisory. He has participated in nearly $20 billion worth of tax-oriented financings across a number of different jurisdictions and asset classes including aviation, rail, manufacturing, real estate, infrastructure, thermal power generation, and renewable energy. Since the establishment of CCA Group in 2003, Mike has participated in dozens of renewable energy transactions across all segments of those markets and utilizing a wide variety of different financing structures. Prior to the establishment of CCA Group, Mike was a Managing Director in the Tax Products Group at BTM Capital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., where he provided both sell-side and buy-side advisory services to many of the bank’s institutional clients. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. Mike holds Series 7, SIE, 24, 63, and 79 licenses.
