Since joining Cavendish in 2002, Andrew has advised on the sale of more than 50 businesses focussing on the business services sector including the sales of CRM Students to CORESTATE, Improve International to RJD Partners and Altodigital to Xerox. Andrew graduated from Oxford University in 1997 with an honours degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Upon leaving university he joined the corporate finance department of UBS specialising in mergers and acquisitions. During his time at UBS Warburg Andrew executed a wide range of transactions such as trade sales, acquisitions, UK public offers and demergers. His clients included UK and international companies operating in telecoms, engineering and leisure sectors with his experience of the sell-side ranging from the successful completion of a major leveraged buyout to the securing of venture capital funding for niche technology companies. He has co-authored a book on the subject of selling businesses: The Definitive Guide to Selling Your Business.
