Giorgio joined Cassiopea Partners in June 2017 and, in addition to his position in Cassiopea Partners, he is founder and CEO of FINER S.r.l – Financial House for the Family Business founded in February 2014. FINER is an independent advisory firm that provides advice to entrepreneurial Italian families in the reorganization of the intra- family share capital, succession planning and separation between ownership of the share capital and company management. Before FINER, from 2000 to 2013, Giorgio was managing director of Mediobanca S.p.A., a leading Italian merchant bank, in the M&A and corporate finance department. From 1999 to 2000 Giorgio was managing director of SOPAF S.p.A. in the M&A and corporate finance department. Giorgio started his career in 1989 as a director of Euromobiliare Corporate Finance S.p.A. in the M&A department. During his career Giorgio successfully completed more than one hundred deals (M&A, IPO and debt restructuring). Giorgio advised some of the most important Italian entrepreneurial families and of the most important Italian industrial groups. Giorgio graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico of Milan. Giorgio is a member of NedCommunity, the Association of independent directors.
