Marcus Wai, vice president of Cassel Salpeter & Co., has spent years cultivating substantial investment banking and financial analysis experience. In this way, Marcus provides the firm’s clients with merger and acquisitions advisory as well as fairness and solvency opinions. He has contributed his sharp, effective service to a long list of major transactions. The New Zealand native was an investment banker/analyst with Cameron Partners, one of New Zealand’s top boutique investment banking firms. At Cameron, Marcus advised on various corporate finance and merger and acquisition assignments in a variety of industries, including agriculture, electricity, banking, manufacturing, and Internet services. After relocating to the United States, he established the franchise acquisition program as a merger and acquisition analyst at Tutor Time Corporation. Marcus has a long history with his current partners, both at Capitalink and Ladenburg Thalmann & Company. Marcus earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in business from Massey University in New Zealand, where he specialized in economics and finance.
