Marcus Wai, vice president of Cassel Salpeter & Co., has spent years cultivating substantial investment banking and financial analysis experience. The New Zealand native was an investment banker/analyst with Cameron Partners, one of New Zealand’s top boutique investment banking firms. At Cameron, Marcus advised on various corporate finance and merger and acquisition assignments in a variety of industries, including agriculture, electricity, banking, manufacturing, and Internet services. After relocating to the United States, he established the franchise acquisition program as a merger and acquisition analyst at Tutor Time Corporation. Marcus has a long history with his current partners, both at Capitalink and Ladenburg Thalmann & Company. Marcus earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in business from Massey University in New Zealand, where he specialized in economics and finance.
