Tim Lufkin is a Managing Director in Cascadia’s Financial Sponsors Group who works across all the firm’s industry and product groups to help manage and grow relationships with private equity clients. Tim is a seasoned investment banking professional working with middle market private equity firms and brings more than 25 years advising clients on M&A and strategic advisory assignments, including divestitures, financings, and capital raising. Mr. Lufkin most recently worked at Rothschild & Co as a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group in the New York office. Previously, Tim was a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group with BB&T Capital Markets (now Truist Securities). Additionally, Mr. Lufkin worked at American Capital Ltd. where he was a Managing Director in the firm’s Sponsor Finance Group originating Unitranche and 2nd Lien Debt for private equity clients. Tim has also worked at Cowen Inc., Morgan Joseph TriArtisan LLC and Legacy Partners Group LLC (now FBR Capital Markets). Mr. Lufkin spent the early part of his career with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities, working for over ten years with both public and private middle market companies. Over the course of his career, he has helped advise on or originate over 75 private equity-related M&A, debt and equity transactions. Mr. Lufkin graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S. in corporate finance and is registered with FINRA, holding Series 7 and 63 licenses.
