Scott Ames is a Managing Director and Head of Cascadia’s Financial Sponsors group. He also serves on the Firm’s Operating Committee. His primary focus is to continue developing and institutionalizing relationships with leading financial sponsors. Scott joined Cascadia Capital from Lazard, where he was a senior member of the financial sponsors group. Before joining Lazard, he spent several years at Craig-Hallum Capital Group, where he led a number of M&A advisory transactions and public debt and equity offerings for emerging growth companies across a wide variety of sectors. Scott began his career at Wells Fargo, covering large cap financial institutions. Scott received a B.A. in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and was a member of the men’s varsity hockey team. He is registered with FINRA, holding the series 79 and 63 licenses.
