Alison (Ali) King is a Managing Director focusing on client origination and transaction execution. For the last few years, Ali worked in the Acquisitions Group at Thrasio, the largest aggregator of Amazon third party brands, where she was responsible for leading deal processes from initial outreach through analysis and negotiation. Backed by Silver Lake Partners and Advent Capital, Thrasio purchases and optimizes Amazon Third Party Sellers and DTC brands by enhancing advertising, creative, supply chain, search engine optimization (SEO), & channel diversification. Prior to Thrasio, Ali worked in the TCW Direct Lending group where she was responsible for the origination, structuring, due diligence, and monitoring of private credit investments ($10 million - $350 million) to non-sponsor and sponsor-backed middle-market companies. Ali started her career as a High Yield Research Analyst at BancBoston Robertson Stephens before transitioning to UBS Investment Bank, where she held numerous positions in the Leveraged Finance Group and was elevated to Executive Director. Ali also held positions at Harbinger Capital and MAST Capital during her career. Ali is a graduate of Colgate University and has held a variety of FINRA / NASD securities licenses.
