Over the past two decades Charles worked as a partner in a pre-eminent stockbroking firm before it was sold to a major investment bank where he was retained to initiate and manage the research department before migrating into investment banking. He has been engaged by many major corporations and governments to advise on mergers and acquisitions and disposals of non-core assets. Before entering the stockbroking and investment banking industries Charles was a senior executive in the funds management industry. During his career Charles has been a senior executive with the State Superannuation Fund, MacNab Clarke, Credit Suisse First Boston Australia, ANZ Investment Bank and advised many major corporations and governments.
