Larry Fentriss joined Cappello Global in December 2019. Mr. Fentriss began his career with Crestar Financial Corporation, managing a variety of areas, including strategic planning, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, and operations. Larry was promoted to executive vice president of investment banking with Crestar and started their nationally-ranked merger and acquisition division. With Crestar, he successfully completed more than 25 major transactions, acquiring assets exceeding $4.5 billion, and hundreds of transactions for the Bank’s customers. Mr. Fentriss co-founded the nationally ranked Baxter Fentriss and Company. In 2003 he became President of Anderson & Strudwick and in 2008 he acquired the broker dealer Tier One Partners, Inc. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Valley Bank, Regal Bank, and Progress Bank of Florida and been a Director of over 10 financial institutions, both private and publicly traded. He was previously also a General Partner of Community Bank Investors of America, LP. Mr. Fentriss graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Finance with honors. He received his M.B.A. with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, Mr. Fentriss graduated with honors from the Graduate School of Banking, Louisiana State University and The banking school at the University of Tennessee.
