Bio

Prior to launching Capital Clarity, Cooper was Managing Director and Co-Head of the TMT practice at Houlihan Lokey, where he led the execution of numerous corporate finance activities in company sales, investments, recapitalizations and acquisitions across the technology sector. Cooper was a co-founder and Managing Partner with ArchPoint Partners, LLC, a partner-owned investment bank focused on providing strategic and financial advisory services to technology and software companies, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2014 after tremendous growth and development as an independent enterprise. Prior to founding ArchPoint, Cooper was TMT practice head for Montgomery & Co., where he sourced, evaluated and executed mergers and capital raises for growth companies in the software and technology sectors. Before joining Montgomery, Mr. Cooper was President of ThinkTank, a software company incubator funded by Softbank Before joining Softbank/Thinktank, Cooper held many senior roles in corporate development and strategy, as Senior Director of Corporate Development at Microsoft, HBO/McKesson, American Express and First Data Corporation – developing broad expertise in business and consumer software, healthcare technology and fintech domains. Cooper founded Halestreet Investments, and currently presides over that investment entity, with minority to majority invested positions in more than 10 private companies across the US. Cooper serves on the board of directors of several companies and is a frequent advisor to both corporate and private investors. He is also a co-founder of the Orlando Opportunity Fund. Mr. Cooper has also been a senior executive in multiple venture-backed technology companies which created liquidity and generated solid returns for investors and employees. Cooper holds a B.S. in Business and Finance from the University of Minnesota, and has completed post-graduate work in executive leadership at MIT.
