Bio

Jamie joined in 2010 during the Canaccord/Genuity merger and is a Managing Director and Head of M&A, Canada. He has almost 25 years of experience advising on M&A transactions across all facets, structures and types. These include US, European and Australian cross border transactions, friendly and hostile public take-over transactions, private acquisitions, divestitures, carve outs and spin-offs. Jamie has advised companies, their Board of Directors and Independent/Special Committees on more than 80 completed advisory assignments totaling more than $115 billion, including healthcare, technology, media, consumer, industrial, agricultural, retail and financial services. He has a demonstrated ability and track record of driving superior value creation in sell-side mandates. Jamie received his Honours BBA (Co-Op option) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and holds the CA, CPA designations.
