Taaha Shaikh is a Director the Firm’s Capital Markets Group. Mr. Shaikh joined Cain Brothers in 2010 and has over 8 years’ experience advising not-for-profit acute care and post-acute care entities in a variety of capital raising and strategic advisory transactions. Mr. Shaikh’s notable transactions include the $250 million new development joint venture and capital raise for Pacific Retirement Services’ Mirabella at Arizona State University, $145 million fixed rate and bank direct financing for Adena Health System, Baylor College of Medicine’s Joint Venture with CHI St. Luke’s Health System partnership, and the obligated group restructuring of St. Andrews Resources for Seniors. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shaikh was in Morgan Stanley’s Tax-Exempt Securities Division, where he worked in the infrastructure banking group dealing with a diverse set of municipal clients across sectors and geographies. His prior experience also includes working for Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Bank Strategy group. Mr. Shaikh earned a BS in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
