Sean Gomez joined Cain Brothers in 2020 as a Vice President in the Firm’s Healthcare Public Finance Group and brings nearly 10 years of banking experience primarily serving non-for-profit issuers. Mr. Gomez has worked on a wide array of capital raises across a variety of sectors, having been involved in over $8 billion in tax-exempt and taxable financings, private placements, credit facilities, and interest rate swaps. In his current role, Mr. Gomez is focused on capital raising and strategic advisory solutions for not-for-profit healthcare providers, specifically working with the firm’s acute care and senior living clients. Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Mr. Gomez was a Vice President at Citigroup in the Firm’s Public Power Group. Mr. Gomez has also been a member of the Municipal Products Group at U.S. Bancorp and the Public and Infrastructure Finance Group at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Mr. Gomez graduated from University of California, Davis with a BA in Economics and Spanish.
