James Conahan is a Vice President in the Firm’s Capital Markets Group. Mr. Conahan joined Cain Brothers in 2008 as an analyst in the Firm’s Special Products Group. Since that time Mr. Conahan has focused exclusively on Healthcare Capital Markets banking with prior experience as a member of the firm’s Underwriting Desk and Special Products Group. Mr. Conahan has participated in financings for acute care and senior living providers that utilize the public municipal bond market, private/alternative lenders, commercial banking loans and government insurance programs. In this capacity Mr. Conahan has helped healthcare borrowers achieve; new money project funding, obligated group formations, debt portfolio streamlining, acquisition financing and debt refinancing. Since 2012, Mr. Conahan has served as investment banker, arranger or financial advisor for more than 30 transactions totaling over $3 billion in aggregate par amount. Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Mr. Conahan was an intern at Citigroup in the Firm’s Derivatives Settlements Group. Mr. Conahan graduated from Monmouth University with a BS in Finance.
