Garrett Colgan is a Vice President in the firm’s Health Systems M&A Advisory practice. Mr. Colgan joined Cain Brothers in 2018 and has over 7 years of experience working on mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategic partnership transactions involving physician groups, health systems, and academic medical centers. His notable transactions include the sale of Brown & Toland Physicians to Altais Clinical Services, Orlando Health’s acquisition of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and St. Cloud Regional Medical Center from Community Health Systems, University of Louisville Health’s acquisition of the Louisville market assets of KentuckyOne Health from CommonSpirit Health, and the pending sale of Mercy Health’s outreach laboratory business to Quest Diagnostics. Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Mr. Colgan worked as a Manager at NYU Langone Health where he focused on the expansion and development of the system’s ambulatory care network. Mr. Colgan earned a BS from Skidmore College where he studied business and economics.
