Elizabeth Kim is a Vice President in the Firm’s Health Systems M&A Advisory practice. Ms. Kim joined Cain Brothers in 2008 and has advised health systems, academic medical centers, physician groups, and ancillary healthcare providers on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and a variety of strategic advisory engagements. Ms. Kim’s notable transactions include affiliation of Children’s Hospital and Research Center Oakland with University of California San Francisco, sale of California Cancer Specialist Medical Group to City of Hope National Medical Center, merger of John C. Lincoln Health Network and Scottsdale Healthcare, and affiliation of Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation with Northwestern Memorial HealthCare. Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Elizabeth co-founded Ascend Worldwide LLC, a boutique consulting firm. Prior to Ascend, she worked as an Associate at Economic Analysis and as a Mortgage Trader at First Security Corporation. Ms. Kim earned a BS in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
