JT Herman is a Managing Director and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions within BTIG Investment Banking. Prior to BTIG, he was a Managing Director at GCA, where he led the firm’s Industrials and Industrial Technology division. Earlier in his career, Mr. Herman was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he led the firm’s West Region Industrials unit in San Francisco. Prior to his career in investment banking, he was a Captain in the United States Air Force. Mr. Herman earned a BS in civil engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, an MS in engineering management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
