Jay Magee Bio

Jay Magee is a Managing Director within Investment Banking’s Financial Institutions Group at BTIG. Prior to joining BTIG, he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Financial Services Group at JMP Securities, where he held several roles since 2005 and was responsible for origination and execution of capital raising and advisory transactions in the specialty finance sector with a focus on auto, consumer and mortgage finance and tech-enable lending. He has advised his clients on more than 150 public and private financings and mergers and acquisitions, representing over $25 billion in transaction value, including over $5 billion as a bookrunner or lead advisor. Mr. Magee holds a BA from Villanova University and an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
