Bio

John Walsh is the Head of the Boston Private Banking Office, where he oversees a team of professionals who provide commercial lending, corporate advisory, private equity and multi-family office services for high-net-worth clients. Upon joining the firm in 1991, John served as an investment banker, advising owners of successful privately held companies on the sale of their businesses. He then joined the private equity business and spent six years as one of five Investment Principals overseeing the investment of a $377 million private equity fund. At the conclusion of this fund’s investment period, he joined the Private Banking division. John serves on the board of directors of Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island and the board of directors of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and is a CFA Charterholder.
