Over the past 20 years, Joseph J. Zabik has been focused on the financial services sector as an investment banker and corporate executive. Prior to joining Broadhaven, he served as both Head of Corporate Development and Head of Investment Banking for Sterne Agee, where he advised the firm on strategic transactions and simultaneously achieved consistent growth and margin expansion for the Investment Banking Division. Before joining Sterne Agee, Mr. Zabik was a Managing Director with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Financial Institutions Group and led numerous public and private financing and strategic advisory engagements for brokerage and wealth management firms, securities processing companies, trading platforms, and clearing and financial outsourcing firms. Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he held senior roles within TD Ameritrade’s Corporate Development Group and Salomon Smith Barney’s Investment Banking Division. Mr. Zabik earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, magna cum laude, from Kent State University.
